Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 5, 2026

This policy explains what Transcendo collects when you visit transcendo.app, join the waitlist, or use the Transcendo Android app, why we collect it, who receives it, and what you can do about it. We keep it short and specific on purpose.

1. Who is responsible

Transcendo is run by its founder as an independent developer. For anything about your data, write to transcendo.app@gmail.com. We answer within 30 days.

2. What we collect

We do not sell your data. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics on this site or in the app.

3. The coach

When you talk to the coach, the app sends the following to our server: your first name, the personal message you wrote at the start, today's date and local time, today's habits and whether each is done, a summary of the last seven days, your current streak, your best and weakest habit, the titles of overdue tasks, and the text you type to the coach.

Our server adds the coach's instructions and passes this to Google's Gemini API to produce the reply, then sends the reply back to your phone. Our server does not keep your messages. Google processes them under its own terms. Depending on the service tier, Google may retain inputs and outputs for a limited time, may use them to improve its products, and human reviewers may read some of them. Do not write anything to the coach that you would not want a stranger to read. You can turn the coach off by not opening it, and you can clear the conversation in Settings.

4. Who receives your data

These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

5. Keeping and deleting data

To be removed from the waitlist, email us and we delete your address within 30 days. In the app, "Erase everything" in Settings deletes all data on your phone. Uninstalling the app also removes it from your phone. Because we do not store your app data on our servers, there is nothing more to delete there.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, for example in the EU, UK or California, you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, withdraw consent at any time, object to processing, and complain to your data protection authority. Email us and we will act on it. Withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before.

7. Age

Transcendo is for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you think a child has joined the waitlist, tell us and we will delete it.

8. Security

Data travels over encrypted connections. Waitlist emails are stored in Cloudflare's infrastructure with access limited to the founder. No system is perfectly secure, so we collect as little as we can.

9. Not medical advice

The coach is not a doctor or a therapist. If you are in crisis or in danger, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line.

10. Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. See the cookie notice.

11. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, for app users, tell you in the app before the change applies.
